Finding Order in Chaos and Bringing Calm to Crisis
Jasmine Avgerakis-Marks is an advisor and consultant to leaders, executives, and business partners. Her work is inspired by over 10 years responding to emergencies and crises in some of the most challenging places of the world. In the midst of crisis, she’s started programs from the ground up - from identifying needs, to program and budget design, through implementation and closeout with all the logistics, HR and team management in between.
Jasmine has negotiated with a group of Yemeni sheiks for humanitarian access to deliver food aid. She led program development for drought response in Somali and lead capacity training for the team, making them more equipped for an efficient response. She set up a 90-day emergency program for internally displaced people in post-conflict Juba. She designed an innovative platform for data sharing across refugee migration areas spanning from the Syrian border through the Balkans.
Jasmine has a different way of looking at the world. Growing up, this made her feel a little outcasted, but now, it offers a unique perspective on things. She has a gift of seeing the process in a multidimensional view. It allows her to take a methodical approach to organization change that includes micro and macro perspectives that are congruent with upper level and lower level values and responsibilities. She is a big thinker and problem solver who thrives under change and ambiguous environments and excels in finding order within the chaos.
